Two Tornado Watches Now in Effect

This first tornado watch is a particularly dangerous situation watch. People living in the watch should take preliminary sheltering precautions (scroll down).

Note: the risk of violent tornadoes is "high."

The second watch is for a weaker, but still potentially dangerous, type of tornado known as a landspout.
